Building ADA Compliant Accessible Websites and Documents In-Person

Please join NYC DOE us in an engaging hands on training where we will explore making digital information accessible to all users including those who are: blind, deaf, color blind, or have impaired motor functions.

We will look at:

  • What makes information accessible or inaccessible

  • The tools available to evaluate accessibility

  • What to be aware of when designing for the web including considerations for images, Word Documents, Excel Spreadsheets, Powerpoints, and PDFs.

This program is eligible for 5 hours of CTLE credit in (Content, Pedagogy, or ELL) - choose one or more than one.
