  • Participants will learn how a logical train of thought can turn illogical. From the slippery slope to spurious correlations, participants will pick apart these and other common fallacies with a learner-centered approach.

  • Participants will leave this session with increased personal awareness of misinformation in multiple forms with a focus on instructional ideas to teach their students to analyze media and information critically using reasoning and evidence.
